Research Focus

Our research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence and deep neural networks to energy system modeling, including areas like:

• Forecasting Wind Power Generation: Developing advanced forecasting models using deep neural networks to improve the integration of renewable energy sources.
• AI and Climate: Part of the UNESCO International Research Centre on AI programme in AI and climate.
• Energy System Digitalisation: Acting as the Joint Programme representative on digitalisation for the UK to the European Energy Research Alliance.
